Bas works as Creative Director at Waag Society. He is running Waag Society’s Sensitive atelier and Fablab. With a background in interaction design and a personal interest in prototyping technologies and electronics, Bas has been working on many Waag projects both as a designer and technical engineer. His 3d design skills focus on product and exhibition design.

As co-founder and Studio Art Director at Streamline Studios, Renier sets the visual quality and overall style for all of Streamline’s projects. He was the visual effects supervisor and Art Director for various franchises such as Unreal Tournament, Gears of War, and Saint's Row. He is active within the art community including participation with GDC, FMX, and CG Society.

Inspired by movies like Jurassic Park, I started to learn 3D back in 1995. Starting with Truespace and now with Maya and Mudbox/Zbrush. I specialized in Lighting and Shading and worked on feature films and games for the last 4 years. I recently start a new career as Character Modeling artist in Amsterdam.
