Jake Dyson

JAKE DYSON

Jake studied Industrial Design at Central Saint Martins, graduating in 1994. Since then he has worked in the product design industry, gaining experience in engineering and manufacturing, establishing Jake Dyson Limited in 2002. Jake felt that contemporary lighting – and uplights in particular – had been neglected. After two years of development, he has realised his vision that a light can be versatile as well as beautiful, and the result is Motorlight, the world’s first variable angle uplight.

CORY BROWN

Originally from the States where I studied the realms of sculpture, installation, and industrial design, I am currently a nanny in London. Beware competitors! [I could have just said designer.. but I'm no turkey-nibbler] My interests [if you're interested]: experimental music, documentaries, strawberry milk, falling towards the earth from the sky.

VARUN SINGH

A flair for the novel, keen observation, desire to change lives and have fun along the way; that perhaps describes my approach to design. Equally adept at working with high end technology as with grassroot workers, I have tried to cover the whole spectrum during my career.
