ARVIND GUPTA
Industrial Designer, IDEO

Arvind is a Senior Industrial Designer at IDEO where he has designed a variety of products and services ranging from toothpaste to digital musical instruments. His work has been published in Time, Surface, Maxim and other publications as well as receiving international and IDSA awards. Recently he has been leading the integration of industrial design and interaction design in consumer electronics in order to deliver a complete user experience.


Carol Koffel

CAROL KOFFEL
Designer, Teacher, Ceramicist

A passionate observer, lateral thinker and entrepreneur, Carol formed New Lief Design Center to collaborate between Art and Industry in 2005. Her current body of work focuses on topographies in translucent porcelain to map spatial and interpersonal relationships. An Art Center College of Design graduate, she co-founded Gingko Design, a consultancy engaged in iconic and strategic design.


Gray Holland

Principle of Alchemy Labs Inc.

For 17 years of innovative design, Gray’s career began as a car designer at General Motors (working on the EV-1), leaving in ’93 to launch Alchemy. After building Alchemy and selling to FrogDesign in 2000, Gray became the VP of ID at Frog. In 2003, Gray launched his latest entrepreneurial venture: Alchemy Labs.


Paul Bradley

Executive Creative Director, Frog Design

As Executive Creative Director of Industrial Design for frog, Paul drives the strategic impact of the company’s global product development practice. Prior to joining frog, Paul spent 16 years with IDEO. He has won numerous design awards from both IDSA and I.D. magazine, and is recognized for his work on the first mouse for Microsoft. Paul’s work on Logitech’s 3D mouse is featured in the MOMA’s Permanent Collection.

Having lived and worked in Singapore and Canada, Y's diverse background brings a unique perspective to the multi-disciplinary design practice at Y Studios. With 15 years of experience under his belt, Y leads his team in finding creative solutions in a wide range of projects including consumer electronics, footwear, identity and interface design for clients in Asia, Europe and the US.

Yvonne grew up hanging from the oak trees of a Texas ranch. After a few years of creating sculpture, she moved to San Francisco for a degree in furniture design. She enjoys sweet tea, climbing trees, kitchen implements, decaying objects and is happiest when she's making.

Stefanie Liang can't stop, won't stop. She is the art director at Curve magazine, creative director at Hyphen, and a freelance graphic designer. She is also a part time massage therapist and a performer for the Alphabet Rockers, an educational hip hop group for kids. Her favorite shape is the circle.
