![]() Oh, Canada! Here we are at last.
Toronto joins the 2009 tournament, marking Cut&Paste’s first and long overdue visit to maple leaf country. Canada’s largest city kisses Lake Ontario along its northwestern shore, and plans for a revitalized waterfront promise to inject new energy into the big T.O. Here, at the self-proclaimed center of the universe, more than 5,000 animals represent nearly 500 distinct species in populating one of the world’s largest zoos, and equally (if not more) fascinating varieties of screen personas and media personalities converge upon the town when it hosts its international film fest every year. On its face and in its heart, Toronto embraces the eclectic, and we’re antsy to see its diverse spread of design talent ramp up the competition this year.
