CRAIG WOLLEN Craig has 20+ years of experience developing strategy, 2D and 3D experiences for some of the worlds’ most innovative brands. He is an internationally award-winning designer whose achievements have been recognized with numerous design awards from industry magazines and trade associations including but not limited to: Exhibitor Magazine, National Association of Store Fixturing Manufacturers, HOW Magazine and Visual Merchandising + Store Design.
HOWARD LICHTER Howard has been a designer with Nike for the past 12 years, working with the brand, retail and product design teams. Previously, Howard served as brand design creative director for Nike’s Asia Pacific region and moved to Tokyo to design specifically for the Japanese market. Howard recently returned to the Pacific Northwest where he is now global creative director for Nike retail.
SEAN O'CONNOR Sean O’Connor is a creative director at Downstream and has been designing around the world for over 15 years. Sean started his humble career out in Nike’s retail design group working on Niketown concepts from LA to London. After a 6 year stint owning his own retail design agency in Amsterdam called Storeage and enjoying the local culture more than he should have, Sean headed back to PDX and reconnected with old friends.
STACY DYE Chasing snow led to waterproof fabrics, storm flaps, and powder skirts. Stacy has spent the past 15 years enjoying what she refers to as “work” (Alphanumeric, Copia, DC Shoe Co, etc). Stacy currently lives in Portland, OR and works at the Swoosh. In her spare time she enjoys hunting for vintage furniture, listening to Heart and wearing Wellies cause they’re rad and it rains a lot. PINEY KAHN A veteran of pop culture biz (Capitol Records, Grand Royal/Beastie Boys, DC Shoes, etnies, and Red Bull), Piney founded milk milk (a marketing collective) in 2006 to do what she loves best – connect people. Piney lives in Portland, OR, where she enjoys watching Dr. Who and embarking on ill-advised home improvement projects.
JASON RESCH Jason Resch is a Senior Account Manager for an internationally award-winning multi-disciplinary design firm: Twenty Four Seven. His specialties include research, branding, marketing, and community outreach. His Twenty Four Seven projects range from managing the design/build process of world-class retail stores, shop-in-shops, and retail extensions to research projects that cut across strategy, 2D and 3D. SHOAM THOMAS Shoam is a West coast designer who has worked for the likes of Mattel, Nike, Autodesk, and Nintendo and continues his pursuit of clear graphic communication in current interactive, environmental, and branded display projects. A renaissance man, he can be found in Portland bouncing from record shops to wine bars to clothing stores doing his part to keep the economy afloat.
AMANDA KRAFFT Born and raised in Alaska (no, she doesn't know Sarah Palin), Amanda is new to the design world with a background in nonprofit work and an uncanny talent for making friends. When she isn't drinking caramel lattes you can find her rippin' up the dance floor, pouring over magazines, and hanging out with her twin sister.
