Cut&Paste @ First-Ever Inspiration Fest in Buenos Aires!

Bringing Cut&Paste to South America for the first time, we took our show on the road to beautiful Buenos Aires for the first ever Inspiration Fest, a dynamic design and art festival hosted by 90+10. Hosting a shorter version of its Digital Design Tournament, we held a separate 2D and 3D competition, both single rounds of four prestigious members of the BA community. 2D DESIGN

Top professional designers face off in 15-minutes

CHALLENGE: Each contestant designed a Music Magazine Cover with the theme of Nostalgia

• All work must be from scratch
• Physical artwork and everyday objects could be imported using a digital camera
• Additional fonts could be used

All competitors used Adobe CS4 Photoshop or Illustrator to create their designs.

3D DESIGN

Buenos Aire's finest 3D modelers mixed it up in 20-minutes.

CHALLENGE: Each contestant interpreted the theme, Two in One in 3D in their own way

• All 3D modeling must be from scratch, but can incorporate pre-made 2D textures
• Each contestant received 2-3 minutes to render their work after the 20-minute round

All competitors used Autodesk 3DSMax or Maya to create their designs.
